The traditional breakfast of oatmeal can be made much more delicious by adding bacon and cheese.
We suggest you check it out for yourself. To do this, you will need:
- 1 incomplete glass of oatmeal;
- 6-8 strips of bacon;
- 1 onion;
- feta cheese (can be replaced with tofu);
- salt;
- a mixture of spring peppers;
- cilantro and parsley.
Cut the bacon into strips and fry in a dry frying pan until browned, then transfer it to a plate.
Peeled and finely chopped onions should also be fried until golden brown. This should be done in the same pan as the bacon.
Add the oatmeal to the pan, mix everything well, add salt and pepper.
After 3-4 minutes, fill the contents of the container with water so that it covers all the ingredients by 1 cm.
Continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes, then divide the oatmeal into bowls, sprinkle with bacon and sliced cheese, and season with finely chopped herbs.
