It turns out that in order to give baked goods a special aroma, it is enough to add one more additional ingredient to the butter that is included in its composition.

We are talking about mint leaves, which need to be blanched, that is, soaked in a small amount of boiling water for 2 minutes.

Once the first step is complete, transfer the mint to a container filled with ice water.

After a few minutes, remove the mint and add it to the butter. You are great – a flavorful addition that is suitable for making cookies and other desserts is already in your hands.

But toasted butter will help give baked goods a pleasant nutty aroma.

Melt the vodka by placing it in a saucepan or frying pan with a thick bottom.

Browning the butter takes about 7-10 minutes. Do not leave the stove – the butter needs to be stirred vigorously.

Now all that remains is to wait until the butter cools down, after which you can safely add it to the other ingredients.

Finally, here's another clever trick: to make shortcrust pastry, you need to chop the butter. Recipe authors suggest cutting the block with a knife, but there's a much more convenient way: you can grate the cooled butter, periodically dipping it in flour.
