Baking soda will come to the rescue in such a situation – a powder that is commonly used in baking, it can make tough beef or pork soft and tender.

To do this, you will have to prepare a soda solution - for 1 liter of cold water you will need 1 teaspoon of soda.

Immerse the meat in the resulting solution and leave it there for at least 15 minutes.

All that remains is to wash the meat under running water from the tap and you can start cooking.

By the way, this same life hack will come in handy if you are going to cook game. But soaking elk, venison and the like will take much more time - 2-3 hours.
