Here's an interesting dessert you can make from dates. They say it tastes almost like truffles, and it takes 10 minutes to make.
To prepare you will need:
- dried dates;
- nuts (hazelnuts or walnuts, or a mixture);
- cocoa powder.
How to cook
This recipe does not contain a gram of sugar or any other artificial sweetener. It is also interesting that the amount of ingredients can be chosen by eye - more of something, less of something.
So, you need to remove the pits from the dates and peel the nuts.
Then the fruit and nut mixture needs to be passed through a meat grinder and a few spoons of cocoa powder added.
Mix until you get a smooth sticky mass, but don't make it too dry. If necessary, you can add a little honey.
Next, form balls from the mixture and bread them in cocoa, coconut flakes, or wafer crumbs.
Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour and serve with tea.
