Shrimp is not a product that you often see in home cooking.

That's why many people don't know how to cook them so that they turn out delicious. But properly boiled shrimp are not only tasty, but also healthy. They, like any seafood, contain not only vitamins and minerals, but also a large amount of iodine.

They are also rich in protein, suitable for dietary nutrition and nutrition of people with diabetes. So how to cook shrimps correctly to enjoy their taste?

Option one: with spices

In 1.5 liters of water, add 5 bay leaves, half a lemon cut into large pieces, 5 slices of ginger, 1 level tablespoon of salt. Pour in 100 ml of soy sauce. When the water boils, add the shrimp, turn off the heat and leave the shrimp under a closed lid for 5 minutes.

Option two: simple

Subtleties of cooking

1. You need a flavorful broth. There is an opinion that it is enough to throw shrimp into hot water to defrost them. This way they will be edible, but not tasty. Spices and aromatic herbs give the final dish unique notes of aroma, and lemon juice helps to reveal the taste.
2. Don't boil them. Most shrimp in regular stores are already boiled. Many people don't know this, so they boil them again. This makes them "rubbery". All you need to do is throw them in boiling water with spices and leave them to defrost for a few minutes.
3. It is necessary to distinguish between boiled and raw shrimp. As a rule, this information is indicated on the packaging. If it is not, know this: if the shrimp are red, then they are boiled. Raw ones have a grayish color. They need to be boiled for 7-10 minutes.
3. Throw spices into the water generously so that they quickly infuse the shrimp with their aroma.
4. The volume of water should be twice as large as the volume of shrimp.
5. For a dish to be tasty, the product must be of high quality.

You can serve the shrimp with vegetables or hot sauce.
