5 things that should not be forbidden to a child: many parents forbid - and harm the baby

The desire to take care of one's own child is characteristic of all good parents.

But some mothers and fathers do not take matters to the point of overprotection: they still maintain a certain degree of freedom for their children.

But other parents are so eager to protect their child from potential dangers that they forbid him everything.

And there is nothing good about this: the baby becomes sad, withdrawn, silent...

And there are prohibitions introduced by parents in order to make their child obedient and quiet. Such rules are also far from always beneficial.

So, what exactly should parents not forbid their son or daughter from doing?

Express emotions

Every child should have the right to express emotions. Give your baby the opportunity to cry or, on the contrary, laugh loudly.

Otherwise, the child will become more withdrawn and less sincere.

Of course, you shouldn't allow your child to scream in a store or a museum. But at home or during walks in the forest, the child should have the opportunity to "express himself."

Express an opinion

Many people who were forbidden to express their own opinions in early childhood are characterized by indecisiveness and complexes.

Play on the sports ground

Yes, many mothers are afraid to watch their child perform exercises on the horizontal bar.

And yet, do not forbid the baby to splash out energy. But at the same time, tell the child about the safety rules in advance.

Leaving a dish uneaten

There is no need to force the child to finish the dish.

The baby should be guided by his own feeling of hunger or satiety.

Otherwise, problems with eating behavior may arise.

Helping parents

If your child offers to help you with something, be sure to agree.

The child can be given some simple task. The main thing is that the child does not feel inept and "unnecessary".

Earlier we listed things that parents should not do in front of their child.
