In a fit of anger, parents can say something to their child that will cause serious psychological trauma to the child.
We are talking about offensive phrases that create low self-esteem in a child.
A child often takes what mom and dad say seriously. The kid remembers it for a long time and eventually becomes a loser.
How to raise a self-confident person? Even during serious quarrels, never say the following phrases.
"You disgrace me!"
The parent most likely says this for only one purpose: to make the child feel ashamed so that the child stops misbehaving in public.
There is certainly no desire to humiliate the child and lower his self-esteem.
However, the child may take what the parent said seriously and begin to worry a lot. Such a child may well grow up to be a loser.
"You're boring me!"
Hearing this phrase from the mouth of a mother or father, a child may come to the conclusion that he is simply not needed by his parents.
Because of this, the child may develop complexes.
"Are you stupid?"
A child who is called “stupid” by his own parents will not feel supported and is unlikely to achieve any success.
