Any good parent would be very worried if they found out that their child was being bullied at school.
Having learned that a boy or girl is being bullied by classmates, mom and dad are obliged to come to the aid of the unfortunate child.
They should talk calmly with the child, trying not to subject him to psychological pressure: no “interrogations” or accusations.
And, of course, you can't say the following phrases.
"Don't pay attention"
This is a common "advice" given to a child who is being bullied.
It is important to understand that ignoring offenders is unlikely to produce results.
Moreover, by saying this phrase, mom and dad seem to be telling the schoolchild: “Solve the problem yourself.”
"How did you offend them?"
It is absolutely forbidden to blame a child who is bullied at school.
There is no point in even hinting that the child could have provoked aggression himself.
The schoolchild is probably not guilty of anything. Quiet and defenseless children who have done nothing wrong are often subjected to attacks from their peers.
"Are you the only one being bullied?"
This phrase is bad because it contains the following hint: “Are you really the only one like this in your class?”
A child may think that he is being bullied because he is “somehow wrong.”
