Not all children are active, sociable and self-confident.
Some boys and girls are shy and silent.
In fact, there is nothing to worry about. Usually, with age, excessive shyness disappears, and modesty and taciturnity often help a person in life.
But parents can make the situation worse by making their child unsociable and not allowing him to overcome negative qualities.
What many parents do wrong
Some mothers and fathers themselves put “labels” on their shy child.
They often tell other people: “He is shy/homely/unsociable.”
It’s even worse when parents describe their child like this: “He’s afraid of strangers.”
Do not repeat this mistake under any circumstances. Do not draw the attention of strangers to the peculiarities of your baby's character.
Moreover, do not mention shyness in a personal conversation with your child. Pretend that your son or daughter is a completely normal child.
Avoid the above-mentioned mistakes and your child will not live with the “stigma” of being shy.
He will not develop serious psychological complexes. The chances for harmonious socialization will be very high.
