Many parents want to raise their child to be a successful and independent person.
But the goal will not be achieved if the child is raised incorrectly.
Threats, intimidation and attempts to humiliate certainly do not contribute to the development of determination and confidence in a boy or girl.
If you want your child not to become helpless, don't say such phrases to him.
"You won't succeed"
Even if you understand that the child will not be able to clean or cook normally, do not stop him. Let the baby learn and acquire skills.
Don't tell him about future failure. Parents believe that the phrase "You won't succeed" will help the child save time by not performing a difficult task. But the baby will perceive these words as an accusation that he is clumsy.
"I'll do it for you"
Let your child act independently as often as possible. This is the only way the baby will learn something. Don't put off acquiring skills "for later".
It is clear that parents do many things better than their children. But this is not a reason to forbid a child to act.
"If you do something wrong, you will be punished."
Fear of punishment is one of the reasons for the indecisiveness of many children.
A child must have the right to make mistakes, otherwise he will remain helpless.
