Sometimes moms and dads lose their temper and start yelling at a restless and out-of-control child.

At first, this approach may seem effective: a frightened child, seeing angry parents, begins to behave more quietly.

However, it later becomes clear that shouting only makes the situation worse.

Let's figure out why, when raising a child, staying calm is better than raising your voice.

Why You Shouldn't Yell at Children

Shouting seems to be an effective method of influencing a baby only at first glance.

In fact, a child perceives a calm voice much better than screaming.

Speak with restraint. And sometimes - quietly. Perhaps at first it will seem that your son or daughter is not listening to you at all.

One thing will certainly become clear later, that it is precisely with this approach that the baby becomes obedient. After all, he sees that the parent is confident and not confused.

It is worth considering that a person who screams makes things worse for himself (he worries and experiences stress) and for the person he is screaming at (the child gets scared).

And if the screams become constant, then the baby will eventually stop paying attention to them.

Shouting only makes sense in a dangerous situation. It is not worth using shouting as an educational technique.
