Who shouldn't sleep during the day

A short daytime nap is useful during periods of increased physical and mental stress.

A 15-20 minute nap helps you reboot, Tsareva said.

Also, daytime sleep helps restore immunity during illness and relieve stress.

A short nap in the morning, according to the somnologist, helps to cope with drowsiness, and a short nap in the afternoon helps to cope with fatigue.

At the same time, the specialist warned against taking a nap after eating.

You are more likely to fall into a deep sleep, and then find it difficult to wake up from it, the expert explained.

Daytime sleep is strictly contraindicated for people suffering from insomnia.

Especially if it is closer to the time when melatonin begins to be produced, when it begins to get dark, ” Tsareva clarified.
