Dietitian Elena Solomatina told Vechernyaya Moskva in an interview which fruits may be dangerous for people over 50.

The main role in this case is not played by age, but by the state of health or the presence of chronic diseases.

And if this is the case, then you will have to limit your consumption of grapes, mangoes, bananas and sweet apples.

If this is already uncompensated diabetes and the sugar level is off the charts, then the listed fruits will have to be completely eliminated from the diet.

Pressure

A sharp increase in blood pressure in people over 50 years of age can be caused by melons and watermelons.

The problem may arise if watermelon or melon is consumed together with salty foods.

As a result, fluid will be retained in the body, which will cause an increase in blood pressure.

For healthy people, there are no restrictions on fruit consumption even after 50 years.
