This statement was made by nutritionist Ekaterina Ivannikova in a conversation with representatives of the Izvestia publication.

The doctor also explained when mushrooms should not be eaten.

According to the doctor, if there are some chronic diseases, then the product will have to be removed from the diet.

Ivannikova added that those with high blood pressure should also avoid it.

As the specialist noted, mushrooms are difficult to digest due to their high content of chitin and fiber.
