Heat is stress for the body. During such a period, you need to approach your health with special care. Physical activity should be done with caution.
Therapist Elena Tikhomirova spoke about this in more detail, writes the publication Izvestia .
She noted that intense training can only put strain on the heart and lead to dehydration.
As a result, a person will face a lot of unpleasant consequences. There may be fatigue, dizziness, nausea, cramps, and so on.
It is advisable to reduce the intensity of training.
Tikhomirova noted that it is better to do the exercises in the morning or evening, when the sun is less active. As for clothing, preference should be given to light fabric that allows the skin to breathe.
If this is not an option, then training should only take place in a room with good air conditioning. You need to drink enough water, but it is better to completely refuse alcohol and coffee on hot days.
You shouldn't overeat before training. You should choose light food that won't cause swelling.
