But preference should not be given to meat broths. They will only irritate the mucous membrane. It is advisable to choose a vegetarian lunch option or milk soup for babies.
However, the dish should not be fatty or spicy.
This statement was made by pediatrician Ismail Osmanov, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the doctor, the main benefit is that the product helps prevent dehydration and stimulates metabolic processes.
Osmanov also noted the standard volume of the first course.
If a child is under three years old, he or she should eat about 150-180 ml per serving. A boy or girl from three to seven years old – up to 200 ml. Children under 11 years old should preferably eat up to 250 ml. As for older children, the norm is 250-300 ml.
