A person needs to get enough sleep.

In this case, his body recovers and fights various ailments more successfully.

Doctor Mikhail Poluektov spoke about this in more detail, TASS reports.

As the doctor noted, poor sleep only reduces the body's resistance to various infections.

The norm for sleep for an adult is 7-9 hours.

Poluektov emphasized that a study was conducted that proved that if a person reduces the amount of sleep even by an hour, his body suffers and resistance to disease becomes weaker.

The specialist also gave several recommendations that should improve the quality of sleep.

He recommended establishing a routine so that you go to bed and fall asleep at about the same time. The environment should be comfortable. For example, you can remove all unnecessary items, and you should also turn off the TV in advance and put aside other gadgets.
