But all this is true if we are talking about normal cottage cheese, and not low-fat.

Low-fat cottage cheese

It cannot be called harmful, but its beneficial properties cannot be compared with a product containing a minimum of 2% fat.

The fact is that low-fat products do not contain vitamins A and B, without which the absorption of calcium slows down.

At the same time, low-fat cottage cheese does not contain many phospholipids lecithin and cephalin.

These substances are necessary for the formation of cell membranes, as well as the transmission of nerve impulses.

Which cottage cheese is the healthiest?

The expert recommends choosing among products with 2-9% fat content and focusing on your taste preferences.
