Toxicologist Mikhail Kutyshov told RG.ru in an interview about three products that are harmful to the pancreas and are consumed more often than fried or smoked foods.
The doctor called coffee the main “stop product” for the pancreas because many people drink it every day and in large quantities.
But it is important to remember that “the pancreas does not like coffee” if it is consumed on an empty stomach and as a snack.
Chocolate came in second place because fast carbohydrates force the pancreas to intensively produce insulin.
Ultimately, this leads to a disruption of carbohydrate metabolism.
They came in third place due to their content of fast carbohydrates and large amounts of natural sugar.
The expert noted that alcohol, “industrial sweets,” carbonated drinks, sausages, products with food colorings, salty foods, and fish in particular also have a negative impact on the body.
But chocolate, coffee and bananas are more often found in the diet of modern people as snacks.
The doctor advises to observe moderation when consuming these products.
