The mistake is to look at a diet primarily as a list of food restrictions.

If by the word "diet" a person means restrictive methods of weight loss, this is a set of strict, sometimes unreasonable rules for the body. In such cases, a group of products is rejected or the diet is depleted in the range of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. As a rule, such diets are available on the Internet, - nutritionist Natalia Lazurenko told NEWS.ru in an interview.

To properly combat excess weight, you need to treat diet not as a restrictive measure.

For healthy weight loss, diet should become a way of life. At the same time, there should be no deficiency of any useful substances in the diet, and the diet itself cannot be monotonous.

At the same time, Lazurenko hastened to note that none of the diets can be called maximally effective in terms of fighting extra pounds.
