Experts from Denmark have stated that leafy vegetables are necessary for the normal functioning of the body.

They have a positive effect on the lungs. For example, they help to avoid asthma and other problems.

Therefore, broccoli, spinach, cabbage and other leafy green vegetables should be on the menu.

Experts also noted that such products contain a lot of vitamin K. It is important for blood clotting, so that wounds heal faster.

The authors of the work conducted analyses of 4 thousand people in their study.

The results showed that people with low vitamin K levels performed worse on lung function tests.

They had more health problems (bronchial asthma, etc.) compared to people who had sufficient amounts of the vitamin in their bodies.

Scientists from Copenhagen published the results of their work in the journal ERJ Open Research .
