With age, brain function deteriorates. Memory and attention suffer. There is a risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.

Still, such symptoms and illnesses are worrisome. You always want to avoid them.

One simple diet can improve cognitive brain function and slow down aging.

Nutritionist Angie Murad immediately spoke about this, writes the publication Medical Xpress .

As the specialist noted in a conversation with the press, we are talking about the MIND diet.

This diet involves including spinach, cabbage, leafy greens in the diet. You also need to eat nuts, especially those with a lot of omega-3.

It wouldn’t hurt to add berries, fish and vegetables to your usual menu.

But Murad noted that the diet also includes some prohibitions.

You should limit the amount of butter, cheese, red meat and sweets. Ideally, you should just eliminate them from your diet.
