American experts have concluded that men and women who previously followed intermittent fasting are most often at risk of overeating.

The scientific journal Appetite writes about this.

Doctors conducted an experiment involving volunteers.

Some of them had already followed the principle of intermittent fasting before.

The study found that men and women who had any involvement with intermittent fasting were much more likely to experience symptoms of eating disorders.

As scientists explained, intermittent fasting is negatively associated with intuitive eating.

This means that a person does not listen to his body, but tries to eat on schedule, and not when he is really hungry.

In addition, such a diet is based on restrictions, which does not allow the body to receive the necessary amount of nutrients.

This only results in more eating problems.
