Many parents are sure that a child should not “splash out” negative emotions.

For this reason, some mothers and fathers forbid their children to be angry.

And indeed, it is nice when a baby is as kind, calm, correct and obedient as possible.

However, forcing a child to always keep anger inside is still a very dangerous parenting strategy.

It may lead to an undesirable consequence.

What happens to a child who is forbidden to be angry

A child who is deprived of the right to express anger begins to experience problems with socialization.

It becomes difficult for him to communicate with both peers and adults. The reason is simple: there is no exchange of emotions.

So remember: for successful socialization, a child must learn to be emotional.

In this regard, both positive and negative emotions are important.

However, this does not mean that the child can be angry uncontrollably. Moderation is important. The child must understand that taking out anger on everyone and in almost every situation is very dangerous.

The general recommendation is: “Don’t forbid your son or daughter to be angry, but teach him/her to control themselves in important situations.”
