Most children (what's the point, most – all) love to run, jump and play active games.
However, these activities cannot replace morning exercises.
It has several advantages: the exercises are performed on a regular basis and train all muscle groups, and over time, when they start to work out well, the child begins to feel self-confident and receives motivation, which stimulates him to new achievements.
It's never too early to incorporate exercise into your daily routine, as they say.
Children aged 3 to 5 years can devote 5-7 minutes a day to this activity. By the age of six, this time should be increased to 10-15 minutes.
Contrary to popular belief, you can do exercises not only in the morning, but also in the middle of the day: a little warm-up will be beneficial after drawing, reading or other activities that require prolonged sitting.
Classic exercises are not interesting for children: if you want to introduce them to exercises, come up with a general fairy tale plot for it or a separate story for each exercise.
For example, invite your little one to turn into a bear that collects pine cones and do bends with him, or into a bunny that hides under a bush and do squats.
Older preschoolers are interested in the result: they want to learn how to jump rope 10 times without stopping or throw a ball accurately into a basketball hoop, so your task is to encourage even small successes and praise the child.
