Pork fat is a very healthy product, but not everyone can eat it.

We tell you who needs to exclude lard from their diet and why.

Who shouldn't eat lard?

Firstly, children under 3 years of age and elderly people over 70 years of age should not eat lard.

Lard is a concentrate of fats; its digestion requires mature enzymes and normal functioning of the gallbladder.

In small children, digestion is still imperfect, and older people often have problems with bile secretion.
