These components are harmful in excess for an elderly person, as they increase blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and also have a negative effect on weight. This means that it is worth choosing a healthier variety.

The specialist recommended paying attention to curd and brine cheese. They, like other varieties, contain protein and calcium, but have much less salt.

In addition, as Solomatina added during a conversation with representatives of the press, these types of cheese have a low fat content, approximately 15–20 percent, while in regular cheeses it is about 40–50 percent.
