How to Properly Store Food in the Refrigerator
The lowest temperature – from 0 to -2 degrees – is on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
It is recommended to store raw meat/fish, as well as prepared meals in large containers here.
On the middle shelf of the refrigerator the temperature fluctuates between 0 and +2 degrees.
This shelf is suitable for storing prepared meals, eggs, sausages, and hot dogs.
On the top shelf of the refrigerator the temperature is +2-4 degrees.
Dairy products, jellied meats, and open cans of preserves should be stored here.
The warmest part of the refrigerator is the door. The temperature here is +5-7 degrees.
The door is designed for storing products with a long shelf life – oils, sauces, drinks, cheeses.
As for the drawers, it is recommended to store vegetables and fruits in them.
