Rospotrebnadzor gave advice on how to choose quality products for Maslenitsa pancakes.

How to choose products for Maslenitsa
Firstly, flour. When buying it, it is extremely important to pay attention to the type.

The most tender, according to Rospotrebnadzor, is premium flour.
To reduce the calorie content of pancakes, you should replace regular flour with whole grain, oat, buckwheat, barley or rye flour.
Secondly, milk. Give preference to less fat options.
As explained by Rospotrebnadzor, the fat content does not affect the usefulness, but fatty foods are less digestible.
Thirdly, butter. It is necessary to carefully study the information on the package.
Butter should not contain vegetable fats.
Fourthly, eggs. The sale of eggs with dirty shells, defects and expired is prohibited, Rospotrebnadzor reminded.
Washed eggs can be stored for no more than 12 days, the department added.
