Surely many of us have faced the problem of purchasing low-quality sour cream.
Of course, we don’t want to buy the same product later – with quality that doesn’t meet our expectations.
Especially sour cream with starch added to it (and some manufacturers do this for thickness).
In the latter case, when a thick product is obtained, it is “added” to have a higher fat content and, accordingly, is sold at a higher price.
And what does the consumer get as a result? A product with much worse taste qualities compared to real sour cream.
You can check its quality yourself by simply applying a thin layer of sour cream to the back of your hand.
Then wait a few minutes. If the sour cream is of good quality, it will be absorbed into the skin and leave behind only a small greasy mark.
If there are additives in the sour cream, it will either not be absorbed into the skin at all, or will form a sticky film.
Earlier it became known why experienced housewives mix vinegar with cloves.
