A down jacket is not cheap. Unlike any other outerwear, it is always comfortable and no frost is scary.
But all this is true until the first wash. A couple of awkward movements - and your favorite jacket turns into a cold bag with matted down and feathers.
Housewives were told how to properly dry a down jacket so that it lasts a long time.
How to wash
1. Any washing should begin with familiarization with the contents of the label. If there is a symbol allowing automatic washing, then you can proceed.
2. You should immediately stop using washing powder – it will leave streaks, and it rinses out worse than gels.
3. Remove the natural fur, hood, zip up, fasten buttons, turn inside out.
4. Load the jacket into the drum and add washing balls to prevent the filling from clumping.
5. Select the outerwear or delicate mode, at low speed and a temperature of no more than 30 degrees Celsius.
Drying correctly
After washing, you need to turn on an additional rinse.
We turn the down jacket and pockets inside out, unzip all the zippers, dry in a warm place or in the open air, but away from heating and heating devices.
Until the water drains, dry the down jacket in a horizontal position, shaking it periodically and straightening the filler.
