It is known that frequent washing spoils clothes, but nothing spoils clothes as much as improper washing. What factors should we consider to maintain their quality?
1. How to load a washing machine
The washing machine should be loaded only to 80%. If you put in the (conditionally) maximum amount of laundry, it will not wash properly. However, if you load too few items for washing than usual, this will accelerate the failure of the washing machine mechanism.
2. What should the water temperature be?
The optimal temperature in the washing machine should be 40-60 degrees. This is the temperature that kills bacteria on bed linen and clothes. A stream of cold water cannot kill dust, mites and bacteria, and very hot water will ruin the fabric.
3. What intermediate products can be used when washing
Your towels and bed linen that become rough after washing will become soft with vinegar. Use 100 ml of white vinegar to soften.
4. How to deal with stains
Stains from dirty clothes often do not come out after washing in the washing machine. Let's look at five simple tricks that will keep your clothes in good shape.
* Apply sugar substitute or starch to the grease stain (new), then wash it in the washing machine.
* Tomato and sauce stains are easily removed with WD-40 (universal aerosol). The product can be washed off clothes in 10 minutes.
* To remove yellow stains from white clothes in the armpit area, wash them with bleach in addition to powder at 40 degrees.
* Soaking clothes in salt water for one hour (a tablespoon of salt per liter of water) will easily remove coffee and wine stains.
* Soda will help remove yellowness from white clothes, and will also remove unpleasant odors from clothes. Add half a glass of soda with powder or laundry soap and wash in hot water.
5. How to dry clothes correctly
Experts advise drying clothes in the air, if there is sunlight, then even better.
If you need to dry your laundry at home in a dryer, throw a tennis ball in it. It will absorb the moisture and make the laundry fluffier.
