Thanks to this simple and effective method, the berries will not lose their taste and juiciness.
The harvest grown without “chemicals” spoils faster than that stuffed with various ripening accelerators.
Even a refrigerator will not ensure long-term storage. After a few days, the berries will begin to release juice, rot and mold.
This can be avoided by washing raspberries and strawberries in a solution of water and vinegar. This will increase the shelf life to 14 days.
To prepare the solution, you need to dilute apple cider vinegar and clean water (1:10).
Place the berries in a bowl and pour the prepared liquid over them. Raspberries and strawberries should be carefully washed and then rinsed under running water.
After this, the berries need to be dried and put in the refrigerator. Such a simple "shower" will ensure long-term storage of strawberries and raspberries. Then the berries can be taken out of the refrigerator and used to make jam, pies or other delicacies.
