Crafty summer residents, without any extra expense, make their outdoor toilets smell like the Alps.
To do this, they have several methods in their arsenal that were used many years ago and are still relevant today.
The soda trick
Baking soda eliminates unpleasant odors for a long time. Use the product as follows: dissolve ½ a pack of soda in 10 liters of water, mix and pour into the cesspool. The effect will last from 2-3 months to six months.
The old way
In spring, summer and even early autumn, gardeners face one very common problem – weeds.
But clever gardeners have learned to use the wealth of flora to their advantage. But weeds can be used not only as fertilizer or mulch.
In the case of a country toilet, nettles are ideal. They are simply torn and thrown into the cesspool once a week or less (depending on the frequency of use).
In addition to nettles, tomato tops are also excellent. Two other options are ash and sawdust.
