Kitchen curtains, like any other textiles, require a special approach.
Over time, fabrics can turn yellow from exposure to sunlight, dust and grease stains. And only proper care will help return the curtains to their original snow-white appearance.
If you want your curtains to always look impeccable and amaze with their beauty, use a simple but very effective method of washing, which is based on the use of mustard and salt.
Washing Curtains with Mustard
Kitchen curtains that have turned yellow and grey over time will become whiter than white if you wash them with mustard.
To prepare the solution, 1 tablespoon of mustard per 1 liter of warm water is enough. Dip the dirty curtains in water for 20-30 minutes, then wash in the usual way.
Washing Curtains with Salt
Another ingredient can deal with difficult stains and grease on fabric.
Add a few tablespoons of table salt to warm water and soak the curtains in it.
Let them remain in the water for a short time and then rinse in clean water.
To enhance the cleaning effect, add a little washing powder to the water and wash the curtains as usual.
Before using any bleaching method, make sure it is safe for your type of fabric to avoid color and quality loss.
