Most housewives believe that if a jacket is not down-filled, then it can be washed without fear and that nothing terrible will happen to the item of clothing.
As practice shows, most or at least half of housewives make mistakes. There is only one correct way. We will tell you about it.
The mistake is that after washing, streaks and stains remain on the material.
But this is not a reason to run to the dry cleaner next time to get your clothes in order.
How to proceed
Firstly, it is not enough to turn on the delicate or hand wash mode in the machine. This does not guarantee the impeccable appearance of the product after you take it out of the drum.
Secondly, to wash jackets, you should use liquid detergents, not powders – gels, capsules and other compositions. This is the only way to avoid poor rinsing of household chemicals from the material, which is why stains and spots appear.
Thirdly, you need to choose a washing mode in which the water temperature will not be higher than 30 degrees Celsius. But it is better to refuse spinning altogether in favor of additional rinsing.
The jacket may take longer to dry, but there will be no stains and it will smell fresh.
