Kitchen towels are considered to be one of the dirtiest things in the house.

During use, grease and ingrained stains associated with food products appear on textiles.

Sometimes it is impossible to wash off such stains. But we would like the towels to always look like new.

There are simple ways to wash kitchen towels and remove any stains without much effort.

Boiling

It is believed that boiling dirty laundry is one of the best methods, which still remains relevant.

To properly boil towels, you need to prepare a large container - this can be a bucket or a basin. Pour clean water, add bleach or detergent at the rate of one tablespoon per liter of water, soak the kitchen towels, bring to a boil and boil for 20-60 minutes.

There are other ways to clean textiles from ingrained stains without using chemicals.

Hydrogen peroxide

Pharmacy hydrogen peroxide will work as a bleach and will cope with any stains.

It can be used to clean colored and white towels. It is enough to soak the towels in water, to which you add two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and one tablespoon of ammonia per 5 liters.

Mustard powder

If you don't have any peroxide at hand, this product will help you out. Mustard will serve as a bleach, preserving the fabric longer.

It is enough to make a paste from the powder and add a little water, apply the paste to a damp kitchen towel and leave for several hours.

After this procedure, the towel can be washed in the usual way, either by hand or in the machine.
