Bread will remain soft and aromatic longer if certain storage conditions are observed.
We tell you where and how to store bread so that it does not become stale or moldy.
How to store bread properly
Firstly, no storing in the refrigerator in a plastic bag, only in a bread bin with holes for ventilation.
Secondly, you need to put a few pieces of sugar in the bread bin.
It has high hygroscopicity (the ability to absorb water vapor from the air) and will maintain a low level of humidity in the bread bin.
Keep in mind that the more bread you have in your bread bin, the higher the humidity level will be, so it's best to leave some space.
