The Internet is full of all kinds of advice, in which helpful individuals, on the condition of complete anonymity, offer housewives to make life easier.
In particular, when it comes to washing, a lot of small troubles arise, which later take up a lot of time. Let's tell you more.
We are talking about washing clothes using some folk remedies.
1. For example, housewives are advised to put a clean damp cloth into the drum along with the dirty laundry, which will collect hair, pellets and other debris that floats up during the washing process.
Housewives agree, but few doubt the reliability and trustworthiness of the advice. And it wouldn't hurt, because larger items - socks and handkerchiefs - periodically disappear from the washing machine. They say that they are sucked into the drum. A thinner napkin may also end up there.
2. Another interesting tip with foil, which should remove the accumulation of static electricity after washing. Only foil can crumble and clog the filter, and the problem with sticking things occurs after they dry, and certainly not during washing.
3. But even this is child's play compared to the advice to put a plastic bag in the drum. Supposedly this helps either to collect trash or to make ironing easier, but in reality the bag will end up in the inner cavity of the drum even faster than a napkin or socks.
It's good if it gets washed away with the flow of water and just gets stuck in the filter or in the sewer.
It is much worse if the bag gets caught on the heating element. In this case, the consequences can be unpredictable.
