This may come as a revelation to some, but simply washing your towels is not enough.
If you want your terry towels to remain soft and fluffy after spending time in the washing machine, there are a few rules to follow.
First of all, it is worth saying that you cannot throw wet textiles into a basket intended for dirty laundry.
In this case, there is a high risk that the towels will start to smell unpleasant, and this “aroma” of dampness is not easy to remove.
To ensure satisfactory washing results, load towels only halfway into the washing machine drum.
It probably goes without saying that towels should be washed separately, as a zipper from a jacket can cause a defect.
Many housewives prefer to use liquid detergents for washing, because they believe that regular powder makes textiles stiffer. For the same reason, you should also avoid bleaches and rinses.
Finally, additional rinsing with the addition of a homemade conditioner, consisting of 1 tablespoon of soda, the same amount of sea salt, hair conditioner and 200 g of table vinegar, can add softness to the products.
