It is a mistake to think that citric acid can only be used in cooking.
It turns out that this crystalline powder can act as a cleaning agent, fertilizer, and even cosmetics.
Laundry and dishwashing detergent
You will need a liter of water and 5 grams of lemon juice – once you combine them, you will get a solution for washing dishes.
Want to do some laundry? You'll have to combine a bar of laundry soap (pre-crushed), 0.5 kilograms of food water, 2 tablespoons of salt and 3 tablespoons of citric acid. The product can be used during hand washing and can remove stains from sweat, deodorant or wine.
Fertilizing plants
Since citric acid stimulates metabolic processes and helps plants fight diseases, it can be used to water azaleas, fuchsias, cyclamens, begonias and other flowers that prefer acidic soil.
Dissolve 1 tablespoon of acid in 10 liters of water and use the resulting composition for watering. The norm is from 0.5 to 1 liter per bush.
Facial gommage
"Lemonka" helps to lighten the skin, makes body hair softer, removes pigment spots and tightens pores. It is used as a basis for exfoliating and cleansing scrubs and peels.
To prepare a light gommage for home care, mix oatmeal, five grams of citric acid and two tablespoons of yogurt (can be replaced with sour cream).
Important: the product has contraindications.
