How to officially take a day off before the New Year holidays
As reported by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, you can take a day off (a day off without pay), if you have one.
Time off is granted for overtime work and work on public holidays, weekends and holidays.
Secondly, you can take leave at your own expense (without pay) or with pay, provided that its payment is provided for by the employer or a collective agreement/other local legal act of the organization.
Such leave is granted for family, domestic and other valid reasons upon written application of the employee.
In addition, part of the labor leave can be used. If the labor leave is not planned for the New Year holidays, the employer can meet the employee halfway and provide part of the leave, including changing the vacation schedule.
