Man did 36 pull-ups on the horizontal bar, and that was enough to get into the Guinness Book of Records: here's the secret

In 2018, Tazio Gavioli from Italy did 36 pull-ups.

This is a good result. But it is clearly not a record, if we take into account the usual way of performing the exercise.

But the thing is that Gavioli did his pull-ups in an unconventional way.

He held onto the crossbar with only two fingers.

This is why the Italian's achievement was included in the Guinness Book of Records.

How Tazio Gavioli Set Records

The man surprised the world on October 7, 2018.

On this day, Gavioli set three records at once.

And this happened as part of an event that took place in the Italian commune of Cavezzo.

Gavioli did 36 pull-ups twice without stopping: on his little fingers and on his thumbs.

In addition, the Italian set a record for the number of pull-ups on two fingers in 60 seconds - 42 times.

Of course, the compilers of the Guinness Book of Records recorded these achievements.

Thus, three achievements of Tazio Gavioli are mentioned in the reference book since autumn 2018.
