World Sauna Sitting Championships
The sauna sitting championship is held annually. Guess who came up with this idea? Well, the Finns, of course.
The rules are simple: whoever holds out the longest is the new record holder. However, not everyone can withstand a temperature of 110 degrees and a huge amount of steam (water is added to the oven every 30 seconds).
Mobile Phone Throwing World Cup
The "homeland" of such an event is again Finland. The winner is determined based on the throwing distance and the artistry of the participant, so one time the first place was given to a dog that spat out the owner's phone a few centimeters away.
World Toe Wrestling Championships
This pastime even has a special name – touresting. Those who want to compete for the title of the best touresting wrestler, enter the ring, interlock their big toes (in a very uncomfortable position) and wrestle.
This “sport”, if you can call it that, has a very rich history, since world cups have been held since 1970.
