The writer, who lived to be 81 years old, created… several thousand novels.
Biography of Corinne Tellado
The future writer was born in 1927 in the province of Asturias in northern Spain.
As a child, Tellado loved reading the works of Alexandre Dumas and Honoré de Balzac.
The Spanish woman's first novel was published when she was 19 years old. We are talking about the work "A Bold Bet".
During the same period, Tellado signed a contract with a publishing house, according to which she had to create one short novel every week.
The writer worked according to this schedule until 1964. But she remained a prolific author even after the contract was terminated.
Throughout her career, Tellado wrote about 4,000 novels. Their total circulation exceeds 400 million copies.
His fertility and talent allowed the writer to become one of the most widely read writers in Spain, and also to be included in the Guinness Book of Records.
Corinne Tellado passed away in the spring of 2009.
