Breed characteristics

The Transylvanian cat was discovered in the Carpathians and now another two years and two generations of kittens must pass before the unique features of the new breed are finally recognized.

The cat's external appearance has common features with wolves - the body is covered with so-called Carpathian wool of a gray color.

The fur is special - white and black hairs alternate. At the same time, the animal's limbs are light.

It is also reported that the cat, who grew up in the wild, has an unusual character.

She can be aggressive, but at the same time she behaves calmly and does not spread her claws for no reason.

The experts who discovered the Transylvanian cat have asked Romanian federations to begin research into the breed.
