Sometimes cats exhibit cute behavior.
For example, they press their muzzles against their owner.
Why do fluffy creatures do this? There is no clear answer to this question: everything depends on the situation, as well as the mood and goal of the pet.
But it is quite possible to list the most common reasons.
The cat wants to leave its scent on the person
Why? It's very simple: this is how the pet will mark its "property".
It is possible that the cat wants to make it clear to its relatives: “This is my master, don’t even try to approach him.”
The cat wants to show love or receive affection
However, fluffy creatures are not always as calculating as described in the previous section.
Perhaps a cat pressing its muzzle against a person has no intention at all of leaving its scent on him.
It is possible that your four-legged friend is demonstrating his affection.
Or maybe the cat simply wants its owner to pet it once again.
The cat needs protection
If your pet is stressed, then pressing the muzzle may indicate that the animal needs to calm down.
And a feeling of security and safety appears in cats when they are close to their owner.
