We all have to make decisions every day, which can sometimes be very difficult.
Instead of waiting for a hint from the Universe, try another method - much faster and, moreover, logically sound.
We are talking about the 10/10/10 method, the author of which is Suzy Welch, a writer, journalist and former editor-in-chief of a business magazine.
How to Use the 10/10/10 Method
To make a difficult choice, answer yourself three questions honestly.
- What will you think about the choice you made in 10 minutes?
- And in 10 months?
- And in 10 years?
After this, you will be able to evaluate the consequences of one or another option, compare them and choose the most suitable one.
This technique works equally well in a variety of areas, be it work, relationships or everyday issues.
Another advantage is that the choice is not influenced by emotions – anxiety, anger, strong joy, etc.
These feelings can prevent us from making wise decisions and often cause us to make choices we later regret. And the more serious the decision, the more likely we are to be overwhelmed by emotions.
