Ideally, you need to let the soil rest: remove weeds, add fertilizer, dig up and don’t plant anything for a year.

If this is not possible, you can restore the soil by sowing green manure crops - rapeseed, mustard, oats.

Of the vegetable crops, it is best to plant root crops after strawberries, for example, carrots.

Legumes, garlic, onions, celery, cabbage, and greens also feel good after strawberries.

In addition, cucumbers, zucchini, and melons can be planted in the former strawberry bed.

After strawberries, flower crops such as tulips, violets, and peonies are planted.

You can’t plant tomatoes and potatoes after strawberries, the crops will get sick.

Also, in the place where strawberries grew, you should not plant raspberries, rose hips and rowan.

You can return strawberries to the same bed no earlier than after five years.
