Mistakes of gardeners
The first mistake is ignoring the white coating on the leaves. This is powdery mildew, which turns the bushes into dead wood in a week.

The second is blaming the yellow spots on the sun. In fact, it is late blight, which kills tomatoes in 3 days.
The third problem is inattention to stem wilting. This is how black leg appears, which destroys 90% of seedlings.
The fourth mistake is failure to treat the seeds. Viruses are carried on the seed coat and are activated during germination.
The fifth mistake is watering with cold water, which provokes root rot.
Tips and tricks
To prevent powdery mildew, spray the plants with whey (1:5) once every 10 days. Lactic acid suppresses fungi.
At the first signs of late blight, use Fitolavin (20 ml per 10 l of water).
Watering the soil with Trichodermin (5 g per 1 l) before sowing will help prevent black leg.
Soak the seeds in a solution of hydrogen peroxide (3%) for 30 minutes - this will destroy viruses. To protect against root rot, add "Gliokladin" to the water for irrigation (1 tablet per 1 l).
If the leaves are covered with brown spots, it is anthracnose. Spray the plants with a solution of copper sulfate (10 g per 10 l of water).
If aphids appear, treat the bushes with tobacco infusion: pour 100 g of shag tobacco into 1 liter of boiling water, leave for 24 hours, then dilute in 5 liters of water.
Agronomist's advice
"Don't wait for symptoms! Prevention is cheaper than cure. Examine the leaves with a magnifying glass once a week - this way you will notice problems earlier. For example, spider mites are only visible under magnification," - Irina, a specialist at the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Protection.
Real life example
"Last year I lost all my tomatoes because of late blight. Now every 2 weeks I spray them with garlic infusion (200 g of crushed garlic per 10 l of water). There is no disease, and the smell repels even whiteflies!" - Sergey, a summer resident from the Moscow region.
